The Alexander Technique Lessons – What To Expect
The lessons are taught on a one to one basis and usually last about 45 minutes. You remain fully clothed. With the help of your teacher's explanations and guiding hands, you will begin to experience an awareness of
unnecessary tension and be shown the harmful habits you may have built up over the years. You are guided through simple activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending and lying down. As your awareness of the tension that you are holding onto grows, you learn how to prevent and to release these tensions. You are in fact starting the process of self discovery.
